About Us

Custom Wine Cellars New Jersey is dedicated to showcasing residential and commercial wine cellar designs and real installations.  Our goal is to stimulate and help wine collectors and businesses to create beautiful and practical wine displays.

Juliette Johnson, the lead author on this website has been writing about wine and various means of storage and enjoying wine for many years.  While she is independent she has made many friends and connections in the industry and assisted in the creation of unique wine room designs. Juliette would like to particularly thank Jerry Wilson of Coastal Custom Wine Cellars, Nancy Noga of Wine Cellar Specialists, Jake Duquette of Wine Cellar International,  Dan Phillips of US Cellar Systems and David Gype of Arctic Metal Works for their permission to use images and designs of wine cellars they have built as well as their generous assistance in technical information and coaching.

Juliette lives in Short Hills New Jersey with her husband, two children and a dog called Crichton.  For the geeks out there she wants to confirm that she was inspired to name the dog by Dominar Rygel XVI of Farscape as he does in fact look a little like him, poor thing…
